Two different pricing rules
Neither broker's rebates on MingHui FX are a single number — both are split by account tier. The table reads Exness on the left, Tickmill on the right, with full tier notes on each broker page (Exness rebates, Tickmill rebates).
| Item | Exness | Tickmill |
|---|---|---|
| Founded | 2008 | 2014 |
| Minimum deposit | $1 ($2000 first deposit on Raw and Zero) | $100 |
| Max leverage | 1:2000 | 1:1000 |
| Commission-free tier | Standard from 0.3 pips, 40% of spread | Classic from 1.6 pips, 100% paid from spread |
| Raw spread tier | Raw Spread from 0.0 pips, fixed rebate per lot | Raw from 0.0 pips, $3 commission per lot per side, paid from commission |
| Payout cycle | Daily | Weekly |
Exness Raw pays $0.65 per FX lot and $2.25 per gold lot, Zero pays $0.43 and $1.5; Tickmill has no per-instrument table, so its tier figures come from its broker page. Both start raw spreads at 0.0, but one rebates a fixed dollar amount per lot and the other a share of commission or spread — comparing the headline numbers alone leads to the wrong answer.
Cadence usually matters more than the figure
Exness is a daily-settling broker: yesterday's volume is tallied the next day. Tickmill tallies by calendar week, trades that straddle a week roll into the next period, and payment lands within three business days of the broker settling with us. If you recycle margin, daily settlement pulls your rebate into the withdrawable balance sooner; if you trade rarely, the end figures are close and the cadence hardly matters. Cycles are explained in rebate settlement cycles.
Choosing by trading style
- EURUSD only, small size: Tickmill Classic is commission-free with a clearly bounded spread, and a proportional rebate is easier to estimate at low volume.
- Heavy gold or index exposure: Exness pays a metals figure well above its FX one on both fixed tiers, so volume works in its favour — the method is in gold rebate calculation.
- You need fast money movement: Exness runs automated deposits and withdrawals, covered in the Exness deposits and withdrawals guide.
- Running an EA: look at commission and spread first, rebate second; the relative edge of each model is in rebates for EA traders.
To compare money rather than rules, put your monthly lots into the rebate calculator and both brokers price on their own basis; for a three-way view see XM, Tickmill and FxPro compared, and the head-to-head with XM is in XM vs Exness rebates.
FAQ
Which pays more, Exness or Tickmill?
The bases differ, so the numbers are not comparable: Exness Standard pays 40% of spread and Raw and Zero a fixed amount per lot, while Tickmill Classic pays from spread and Raw from commission.
How much does the payout cycle differ?
Exness tallies the previous day; Tickmill tallies by calendar week. Both pay into your MingHui balance within three business days of the broker settling.
Can I use both?
Yes. Both are partner brokers, each account number is bound separately and rebated on its own basis — many traders keep low-frequency volume on Tickmill and heavy volume on Exness.
How do the leverage terms differ?
Main Exness accounts go up to 1:2000 against 1:1000 at Tickmill, subject to official terms and local regulatory limits.
